" Sharing is Caring "

Our Facebook page Goldentimers Club has open settings. You can post your questions to the gOldentimers Community or leave experiences that may be helpful to other (potential) participants. Of course we especially appreciate your photos and videos, which we gladly include in our Tour Galleries.

At gOldentimers we look at everything with an open mind. Should you have suggestions or proposals you prefer to send us in a private message, just drop a direct mail to rudyvn@goldentimers.org

Once a year we organize a casual gathering at which the goldentimers Community comes together for an evening with some entertainment. During this event we also honor the winners and nominees of our international Golden Turtle Photo Awards and we do not send them back home without a bag of goodies (and eternal fame within the gOldentimers Community) ...

the Golden Turtle Photo Awards

When Mc Donalds opened a new franchise on the steps of the Piazza di Spagna in Rome, Italian Carlo Petrini launched the slow food movement in an attempt to counter the monotonous fast food culture. In the same spirit, slow travel is opposed to mass tourism and the typical rush of one tourist highlight to the next 'must see'. At gOldentimers we also go for authentic experiences instead of pre-chewed tours. So focus with all your senses, keep your cameras ready and compete for our international Golden Turtle Photo Awards ...

We will crown the winners and the runners-up in eight photo and one video category:

The different photo categories are:

  •                    Humour
  •                    People
  •                    Fauna & Flora
  •                    Landscapes
  •                    (Off) Roads
  •                    Cities, Buildings and Artworks
  •                    You, your Team and your Vehicle
  •                    the gOldentimers Community (and their vehicles)

Videos may have a maximum length of 4 minutes

Be creative, we are not looking for the most professional photographer but for him or her who can best grasp the soul of the subject ...
